Sista dansen på Fårö

There is so much mystery to this small little island of an island. I painted this full of longing and desire for the rough landscape, the salty winds and peculiar atmosphere. It's namned after a documentary I listened to while painting, which is about bohemian life, a murder and feminism. For me the painting is about more than that but there is something to that story that is as peculiar as the island it self. Oh Fårö.
